Dexter Withers was arrested by the Remerton Police Department in connection to a shooting incident in the 1900 block of Baytree Place on Saturday.
REMERTON, Ga. (WALB) – Officials with the Remerton Police Department have arrested the suspect involved in a Saturday afternoon shooting in Remerton.
Officials say Dexter Withers and the 24-year-old victim knew each other and had a prior dispute over a theft.
Withers came across the victim in the 1900 block of Baytree Place at around 4:21 p.m. on Saturday, which led to him shooting at the victim. The victim was grazed in the left by a bullet fragment, according to police.
Withers has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a firearm, reckless conduct, discharging a firearm on or near the roadway, and felon in possession of a firearm.WALB has requested the mugshot for Withers.
