According to USA TODAY, the new fast-food spot, located at 6033 Campbell Road in Dallas, opened its doors on Tuesday.
Here’s what you need to know:
What is CosMc’s?
CosMc’s is a retro, space-themed restaurant that a McDonald’s release described as “a new small-format, beverage-led concept.” The 80s and 90s McDonald’s mascot, also named CosMc, helped inspire the theme.
Are there any other CosMc’s locations?
The Dallas spot is the second-ever CosMc’s. The first is in Bolingbrook, Illinois, which opened in December “as part of a limited test,” McDonald’s said. However, 10 total pilot locations are set to open this year, including in the San Antonio area.
What does CosMc’s serve?
As a beverage-led restaurant, CosMc’s has everything from slushes to cold brew. Specific drinks include a berry hibiscus sour-ade, popping pear slush, s’mores cold brew, turmeric spiced latte and blueberry ginger boost.
Food items include pretzel bites, spicy queso sandwiches, creamy avocado tomatillo sandwiches as well as classic McDonald’s staples such as the Egg McMuffin.
The Dallas location also has two new items, according to USA Today: the Beach Protein Frappe and Melon Herb Chiller.
