Daylight Saving Time Begins on Sunday!
At 2:00 AM on Sunday, March 10, we “spring forward” one hour. What does that mean?
- Sunset will be after 7:00 PM! (Finally!)
- We lose an hour of sleep. (Ouch.)
- Your car clock and microwave will be wrong for at least a week.
How to Adjust to the Time Change:
Go to bed 30 minutes earlier on Saturday. It’ll help!
Plan for an extra cup of coffee Sunday morning. You’re going to need it.
Use this time to check your smoke detector batteries. A smart habit to get into!
Looking Ahead: Is This Warm Weather Here to Stay?
Mid-March Outlook:
- Temperatures stay mild, with highs in the 60s°F.
- A few midweek rain chances, but nothing major.
- No big snowstorms in sight (for now).
March is always unpredictable in Nebraska, so don’t put away your winter coat just yet. But for now, enjoy the sun while it lasts!
