The Onalaska baseball team had a rough go of it on Monday, as the Loggers were defeated 11-0 and 15-0 by Toutle Lake in a C2BL doubleheader.
The Loggers (0-5, 0-4 C2BL) were no-hit in the first game, and Toutle Lake quickly took a big lead with a four-run first and a six-run second.
The Ducks jumped out just as quickly in Game 2, scoring six in the first, five in the second, and four in the third to take a 15-0 lead.
Onalaska coach Weylin Womack said that the Loggers put together better at-bats as the day went along, and he said that there were still some things that they could take away from the defeats.
“Just part of the learning curve,” Womack said.
Hudson Barnes went 1 for 1 at the plate in Game 2, and Desean Stewart went 1 for 3.
The Loggers are back home to face Wahkiakum on Friday, and then they’ll head to Cathlamet for the second of the back-to-back on Saturday.
