Many celebrity homes in high-profile neighborhoods, including Malibu and Pacific Palisades, have been consumed by the flames. Additionally, widespread power outages are impacting nearly a million residents across the state.
President Joe Biden has declared a major disaster in California, mobilizing federal resources to aid in combating the fires. Vice President Harris has canceled an international trip to Singapore, Bahrain, and Germany to focus on coordinating the federal response from Washington, D.C.
