AUSTIN, Texas (KWTX) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has added two fugitives to the Texas 10 Most Wanted lists.
Jesse Mario Vega, 37, of San Antonio, was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list and Marcos Christopher Alonzo, 46, of Hutchins, was added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list, according to Texas DPS.
Vega’s criminal history dates back to 2005 when he was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to two years in prison.
In 2009 Vega was convicted of aggravated robbery and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.He was later released on parole in May 2023.
Vega is affiliated with the Tango Orejon gang and has been wanted since September 2023 for a parole violation.
Vega is described as a 5′6″ tall Hispanic man who weighs about 215 pounds. He has tattoos on his head, face, neck, chest, abdomen, back, both arms and both hands.
Additional information about Vega can be found on the Texas DPS website here.Alonzo’s criminal history dates back to 2005 when he was convicted for indecency with a child by contact after an incident with a five-year-old girl and sentenced to five years in prison.
In 2011, he was convicted for failure to register as a sex offender and was sentenced to three years in prison.
Alonzo has been wanted since February 2023 for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
Alonzo is described as a 5′11″ tall Hispanic man who weighs 250 pounds. He has tattoos on his head, neck, chest and both arms.Additional information about Alonzo can be found on the Texas DPS website here.
Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $5,000 for information leading to Vega’s arrest and a cash reward up to $3,000 for information leading to Alonzo’s arrest.
To be eligible for the cash reward, information must be submitted by either calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-8477, submitting a tip on the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information on or submitting a Facebook tip by clicking the “Submit a Tip” option on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Facebook page.
