ADEL, Ga. – Tonight, we are deeply saddened to report the passing of a 17-year-old from Adel following a tragic four-wheeler accident on Antioch Road.
According to our partners with the Adel News Tribune, Robert “Bubba” Gray sustained fatal injuries when a truck collided with the four-wheeler he was driving, according to local authorities.
Cook County Fire Chief Johnny West stated that emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, with a Life Flight emergency medical helicopter initially requested but later canceled.
In response to this tragedy, Gray’s aunt, Amber Walker, has set up a GoFundMe Fundraiser by Amber Walker : Support for Parents of Robert Gray (Bubba) (gofundme.com) to support his parents, Thea and Mickey Gray, with funeral expenses and other needs. Donation containers have also been placed at various Adel businesses, including Huddle House.
